HOW WILL I HELP?

This is an Associate Network Engineer Role providing L2 support for Westpac’s WAN and Campus Networks. This is a combined operations and build role for managing network devices on Cisco SD-WAN and SDA Campus Network Architecture. The Associate Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a stable, secure & current network by promptly resolving network issues and incidents to minimize downtime and restore services. They will also ensure necessary network changes are performed to meet business requirements.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Provide level 2 incident troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Monitor network performance & capacity.
  • Perform network changes in response to business requirements.
  • Participate in a roster to provide support across extended business hours & out of hours.
  • Participate in network design and implementation activities.
  • Ensure all Incident SLAs are met.
  • Ensure vulnerability management is completed and up to date.
  • Ensure all necessary network changes are completed on time for SDN stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network efficiency, scalability and reliability.
