NRT’s solutions are mission critical to the business operations of a very demanding clientele. As an integral member of the internal front line service point, the Associate Network Operations Center Specialist key responsibilities are as follows:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting & Support: conduct first-level triage and troubleshooting across a variety of systems, including IP networks, with a focus on Cisco technologies and advanced network troubleshooting techniques.
  • Incident Management: manage incidents & issues by documenting, prioritizing, and reporting according to impact & severity; participate in the process to assess and smoothly implement required changes.
  • IT Infrastructure Maintenance: utilize Network Management Systems (NMS) tools and other security applications tools to proactively monitor network health, identify performance bottlenecks and capacity issues and recommend solutions to ensure network reliability and efficiency.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation in detail through ticketing system and collaborate with peers to enhance team capabilities and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications/Skills

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in Telco or FinTech industry preferred
  • A technical degree or diploma is an advantage
  • Certifications such as Network+, CCNP etc. are an advantage
  • Proven experience with Windows and Linux client & server OS troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365
  • Significant knowledge and experience administering Active Directory user management
  • Working knowledge and experience with Storage, Backup and Recovery technologies such as Quest and Azure Backup
  • Working experience in installing and configuring Asset Management systems (PDQ)
  • Excellent organizational and documenting skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Must be flexible to work a 12 hour day and (or) night shifts

Responsibilities:

ADDITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Act as primary contact and provide first level support for all customer lines of business
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes,
  • Review system logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
  • coordinate escalation procedures and provide status updates to internal team members
