ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager with a passion for cardiac care to join our highly skilled Cardiac Unit.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure the smooth operation of the Cardiac Unit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical standards
  • collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centred care plans
  • overseeing the efficient allocation of resources and staff rosters to maintain optimal staffing levels
  • identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
  • actively participating in quality improvement activities and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
