In this key position, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager while leading a dedicated team in both General and Emergency care settings. • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in providing effective leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with other Nurse Unit Managers to promote seamless care and implement practice changes.
• Oversee performance management processes, including recruitment, staffing, leave management, and rostering.
• Manage work allocation, attendance, and financial and supplies planning and monitoring.
• Use your nursing expertise to support and mentor less experienced team members.
• Play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care and operational efficiency.
