Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
NHW have an exciting opportunity for highly focused self-motivated Registered Nurses to apply for a permanent position as Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in the Surgical Ward.
In this position you will be taking on a key leadership role within Surgical Ward. You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager in the efficient management of staff and resources ensuring achievement of excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures, best practice and legislative requirements. You will also be required to oversee the activities of the unit when the Nurse Unit Manager is absent. You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff alongside a supportive leadership team so this role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed. This is a perfect opportunity for a senior nurse to step up into a management role and build your clinical leadership skillset.
