Description:

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is one of Europe’s leading business schools, accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. We are growing, and to strengthen our team, we are seeking to fill a tenured faculty position as

ASSOCIATE OR FULL PROFESSOR OF ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR

We are looking for research excellence and proven ability to publish in top management, psychology, or related journals to further enrich, expand, and consolidate the diverse research portfolio of the Strategy and Organization group. The successful candidate is expected to contribute actively to the further development of thought leadership and the academic community within the group, the Management Department, and the Frankfurt School. Candidates should specialize in any area of Organizational Behavior, broadly defined (including but not restricted to micro- and meso- level OB, Leadership, HR, and People Management). The duties for the position include conducting research, teaching, and service. In terms of teaching, the ideal candidate would be able to use a strong research basis in OB to derive implications/messages for leadership.
The Management Department is an international hub for high-end research in strategy and organization. Recent publications include outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, American Journal of Sociology, Strategic Management Journal, and Organization Science. We offer a stimulating research environment including research seminar series, a Ph.D. program, generous research funding and all the opportunities of a dynamic private business school. We explicitly welcome applications by women and international candidates. German language skills are not required for working at Frankfurt School.
For further information on the Strategy and Organization group, the Management Department and Frankfurt School in general, see our website. The city of Frankfurt is ranked 7th worldwide in the latest Mercer “Quality of Living” ranking and appears in the top 20 of the Economist’s 2023 Global Livability Index.
Review of applications will start on January 15, 2025 and will continue until the position is filled. Please submit your application, including your CV, a minimum of three papers (at least one of which is a working paper not yet accepted or published), teaching evaluations, full publication list, and contact information for three references via Interfolio. Prerequisite is a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Management, or related fields. For inquiries about the position, please contact Prof. Claus Rerup (c.rerup@fs.de).
