Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Position Responsibilities – Associate Level 2:

  • Measures key performance indicators.
  • Extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources.
  • Prepares reports.
  • Reviews procurement/planning systems.
  • Reviews schedules, creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities.
  • Coordinates schedule changes with procurement for contractual changes to purchase orders and supplier incorporation.
  • Documents and participates in the implementation of lean improvements.
  • Communicates project objectives and activities.

Position Responsibilities - Mid-Level 3:

  • Defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects.
  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan.
  • Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
  • Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis.
  • Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develops risk mitigation plan.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • More than 1 year of experience with Excel, Access, or other database management
  • More than 1 year of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis
  • More than year of experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations.
  • Experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
  • Experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Systems and Tools.
  • Experience managing and coordinating supply/demand imbalances.
  • Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mid-Level 3: More than 3 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
