KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong technical skills, with emphasis on Fund of Fund private equity (including equity, infrastructure and private debt) valuations techniques, accounting and data reporting - required
- Expert in MS Excel (analysis of large datasets)
- Proven ability to manage and improve processes while maintaining a rigorous focus on controls and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and stakeholders.
- Highly analytical and organized, with exceptional attention-to-detail.
Non-essential experience (desired):
- Team management experience
- Related financial qualification (e.g. Accountancy, CFA, IMC)
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
- Lead the team in the accurate collation of portfolio data from various sources, covering over 20,000 underlying companies (including classification, performance metrics, and financial data such as Revenue, EBITDA and net debt levels.)
- Act as a go-to expert for internal teams and stakeholders, addressing data requirements and discrepancies with confidence and precision.
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation checks and maintain alignment with valuation processes.
- Manage and improve team workflows, enhance controls, and facilitate training to maintain top-tier operational standards.
- Partner closely with internal teams and external data services to deliver timely, high-quality data and insights.
- Collaborate on system upgrades and projects to future-proof data management capabilities.
