Visp, Switzerland
, we are looking for an Associate Principal Scientist (m/f/d) in our team in Mammalian Cell Culture Development at the Visp site. In this role, you will work in interdisciplinary teams as a lead expert in cell line development and interact closely with customers on project basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute complex projects on mammalian cell line development, ensuring all quality and regulatory aspects are fulfilled.
  • Develop strong customer relationships.
  • Be a subject matter expert in cell line development and support the project team.
  • Actively contribute to the implementation and establishment of robust processes.
  • Write and review high quality reports.
  • Contribute to training activities.

Key requirements:

  • Bsc with 4+ years of relevant industry experience, Msc with 2+ years of experience or PhD in the field of Biotechnology.
  • Hand-on experience with CHO mammalian cell culture (aseptic techniques, subculture, cryopreservation, transfections, clonal isolation, AMBR15/AMBR250, stirred-tank bioreactors, …)
  • Ability to work in teams and organize work.
  • Technical English required, German is a plus.
  • Availability to work during weekends and bank holidays a few times per year.
