• Strong computer skills

• Analytical skills including research, trend analysis, data analysis, and presentation of data through charts and graphs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
• Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to effectively communicate in all forms with others inside and outside the organization
• Ability to plan, resolve problems effectively and establish priorities
• Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to travel as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• 0-2 years of relevant job experience required

Assist with maintaining and improving manufacturing processes and systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.

• Primary function is to create machine programs for SMT and THT equipment
• Develop and maintain assembly instructions, workmanship standards and process documents utilizing the MES or other applications
• Provide primary support to the shop floor for MES-related issues
• Provide support to more senior engineers by gathering and analyzing factory performance data
• Assist new-product introduction (NPI) efforts including but not limited to: review of customer-quality requirements, preparation of customer required documents such as PPAP packages, or monitoring performance of product during the NPI build
• Support efforts to address customer quality issues and problem resolution
• Assist more senior engineers with maintaining production processes
• Continually assist with improving existing operations, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings
• Provide input to root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement and for resolutions to manufacturing problems including processes, machines, or programming problems
• Liaise with production planner/scheduler to ensure released assemblies have adequate documentation
• Provide manufacturing data to monitor and measure progress to target
• Assist with research of new manufacturing technologies to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase capacity
