Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team supporting our E-7 Legacy Commodities and Services program in Oklahoma City, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
- Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- Experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
- More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
- More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Bachelor degree preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
