COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $95,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN, Ottawa, ON, or Lakeland, FL are welcome to work from any of our office locations. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Product Manager - Level 1 at Bloomerang you are technical enough to chat with our top notch Engineering team, creative enough to discuss design, and empathetic enough to serve as the voice of our customer. You understand how product work fits in with the larger picture and strive to collaborate across the organization for both information sharing and gathering. You live and breathe product and love nothing more than delivering impactful products to customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will contribute to the definition of the product roadmap for Bloomerang’s Volunteer Management application.
  • You will be creating functional requirements documents, product briefs, user stories, and other documentation related to the enhancement of your managed product(s)
  • You will engage in Scrum ceremonies and play the role of Product Owner on the Scrum team, working with Engineering to deliver work across Sprints and releases.
  • You will become an expert in the product you are managing.
  • You will contribute to the constant improvement of yourself, your team, and product management team processes.
  • With the team, you will be responsible for shipping features on-time that result in positive outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for creating artifacts (presentations, documentation, training material, etc.).
  • You will communicate with customers, users, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize the features and functionality that should be included in the product.
  • With the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for determining the goals/metrics that will be used to determine the success of a release, and continually monitoring and adjusting to meet the defined goals.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 3+ years experience in SaaS Product Management required.
  • Experience writing requirements documents, product briefs, user stories, and other Product Management related documentation.
  • 3+ years experience with agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodologies and practices.
  • Strong technical acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting in front of audiences
