Description:
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to offer insights and solutions to contribute to the success of the Handheld Analytical Instrumentation portfolio.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering, or life science plus 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis skills. Ability to build and analyze models to forecast and track results.
- Experience with building product roadmaps and product life cycle management.
- Up to 15% travel required both domestic and international
- Track record of communicating high-level information to multiple audiences, including scientists, executives, and non-scientific personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of the existing product portfolio. Responsibilities include pricing/margin optimization, management across the customer value continuum, and user experience efforts.
- Serve as product champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and directly with key accounts. An effective performer will maintain close interaction with the field organization (e.g., sales and technical support) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, product value proposition, pricing tactics, and customer support.
- Contribute to the development of multi-year product strategies and guide fiscal planning for future positioning, growth, and evolution of product platforms. This includes identifying, establishing, and handling relationships with customers, suppliers and industry opinion leaders.
- Perform market research; define market trends, investigate customer needs, define product concepts, customer requirements, and product requirements.
- Champion successful product launches through requirements, development, and commercialization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Associate Product Manager is a key contributor to the financial success of new product introductions.
