Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate Product Manager provides technical support internally and externally to build sufficient competency with LMI products globally to improve channel partner and customer satisfaction. Educates customer base on the value and advantages of LMI products to ensure smooth transition from legacy and competitive products to new LMI products to deliver incremental growth. Liaise with the Ivyland and Pont St. Piere plants as point of contact for escalated technical questions, troubleshooting, and product development topics. Key Performance Metric is incremental booking growth by product category (e.g. P/PD) and region (e.g. Americas, Europe) vs annual budget. Deliverables include collateral material to scale successful sales efforts and the identification, formation, and execution of recovery plans associated to those products/regions at-risk to plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical resource for Distribution, Field Sales, New Product Development, and Global Product Management and maintain internal system for accuracy and completeness including but not limited to CPQ, JDEdwards, Salesforce
  • Work closely with key and target accounts to facilitate transition to new products and support key account penetration including national industrial sales (NIS) accounts.
  • Own, maintain, and update a comprehensive technical library of the LMI portfolio and provide content for technical training in the field or factory including technical training materials, market and competitive product comparisons, troubleshooting guides, compatibility charts, and installation library
  • Collect and maintain data on competitive positioning of the LMI product range against major competitors in the chemical metering and dosing marketspace including price, features, markets, and application data for ongoing comparison and assistance in identifying new markets and application opportunities for expanded market penetration of existing products and new product development research
  • Assist with product pricing reviews, updates and increases and assist in development and technical review of marketing content including case studies, white papers, online product content, and brochures
  • Develop train the trainer content to assist onboarding new channel partners and internal hires who will develop into product champions.
  • Participate in Trade Show activities with Marketing and support Channel Partners with Regional Trade Shows.Respond to escalated requests for troubleshooting from internal and external partners, including field support. Technical review and assist in development and updating technical documentation including IOMs, Technical Datasheets, Chemical and Material Compatibility Guides, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field (preferably electrical engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience ideally in the Water Industry.Fluency in Spanish and/or French beneficial

  • Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements :
    Ability to travel (~25%) including international travel
