WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN ASSOCIATE PRODUCT OWNER
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Owner in defining and prioritizing product features and requirements for Products, based on customer feedback and market research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, design within Technology, key business stakeholders and SaaS vendors to help shape the ‘Product Vision’ ensuring that the product is developed and delivered according to customer needs and business goals.
- Assisting Product Owner in managing live products to ensure value is being delivered to end users.
- Ensuring BAU operations are achieved, and system availability is maintained.
- Actively engage ‘Product Owner’ or Business Stakeholders to translate solution needs into actionable user stories, creating & maintaining product documentation. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay up to date on industry trends and customer needs.
- Assist with product launch activities, such as coordinating beta testing and training end users within Primark.
- Monitor product metrics and KPIs and make data-driven decisions to improve the product and drive business results.
- Work with the Product Owner to identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.
- Identify improvements and efficiencies in ways of working between technology, business and SaaS vendor partners and work with the Product Owner to implement them.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business relationship management in an IT environment
- Industry or functional expertise validated through experience working for a Retailer.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience of working with ‘Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)’, ‘Product Information Management (PIM) and ‘Supplier Effectiveness’ tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with a SaaS model, the Compliance portfolio works almost exclusively with SaaS providers.
- Experience with Agile methodology and product development processe
