Description:
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years relevant financial services experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative and ability to work under pressure and be comfortable taking primary responsibility for deliverables assigned
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills; Experience with Bloomberg and Morningstar is highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to distill complex investment concepts for various audiences
- Solid understanding of the Australian funds management landscape and common investment vehicles
- Basic programming skills in VBA or Python is an advantage
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Global Product Solutions (GPS) Product Specialist will focus on the continued delivery of best-in-class product solutions to Australian investors, with a particular focus on the continued improvement and evolution of our managed funds range. As a subject matter expert on product structures, attributes, and operations, the specialist will address inquiries and collaborate with the broader business to implement modifications. The role involves close partnership with the APAC product team and coordination with multiple internal departments such as Legal & Compliance, Client Business, Marketing, Operations, Portfolio Management, and Technology. The specialist will also engage with key external stakeholders to ensure the alignment and success of our product offerings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fund compliance/operational oversight including:
- Implementation and oversight of certain regulatory reporting requirements
- Monitoring and reviewing fund attributes such as buy-sell spreads
- Product specific updates to fund documentation
- Management of the fund registration process
- Product procedure enhancements and maintenance of internal fund data/attributes
- Resolve product queries working with Portfolio Management, Investment Risk and Compliance
- Implementation of fund changes including benchmark changes and fund structure/operational changes
- Maintenance of product committees and internal reporting to senior management
- Management of fund data distributed to external vendors
- Oversight of the product information on our website and factsheets including the implementation of enhancements, periodic reviews and troubleshooting issues with stakeholders.
- Manage ad-hoc queries and projects relating to registered products in the region.
