Department Overview
The Product Specialist (“PS”) Team creates, updates and disseminates information, messaging and materials for investor communications initiatives and assists Marketing in developing information, messaging and communications materials for other audiences. The Team works with Firm leadership, other Investor Partners Group (“IPG”) Teams, Direct Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loans, Credit Opportunities, Fund Accounting and Compliance to create and disseminate information that is timely, accurate, on-brand and on-message. In addition, the Team assists Business Development in technical discussions with potential and current investors. The Team also frequently develops and / or presents content for investor-oriented presentations, panels and speaking opportunities.
The Separately Managed Account (“SMA”) Team within PS is responsible for managing separately managed account and fund-of-one clients for the Firm. The SMA Team are subject matter experts for the account investment guidelines and ensure compliance with the clients’ investment agreements. The team also compiles customized reporting for SMA clients and ensures timely delivery.
Position Responsibilities
The candidate will help manage all aspects of custom reporting and investment guideline monitoring for specific separately managed account (“SMA”) clients. The individual will be responsible for understanding bespoke client requirements and delivering reports with pinpoint accuracy.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Producing custom reports for SMA clients while ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Tracking and meeting investor reporting obligations and deadlines
  • Tracking all pipeline deals and coordinating with various internal teams to ensure deals meet the account’s investment guidelines / limitations
  • Collaborating with Direct Lending on deal activities to ensure accurate reporting
  • Reviewing and assessing deal memos to ensure SMA compliance with investment guidelines
  • Helping the team prepare for monthly / quarterly calls with investors by putting together reference materials with relevant credit and portfolio performance updates
  • Coordinating regularly with Finance, Treasury, Operations and Legal & Compliance Teams
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and working with Technology Solutions on automation projects
  • Leading and driving ad-hoc projects

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • 2+ years’ experience within the Financial Services sector, private credit experience is a plus
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Experience with reporting workflows and data aggregation systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of portfolio and deal-level data
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven project management skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently while demonstrating strong collaboration
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Compensation and Benefits
For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $120,000 to $135,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
