Position: Associate Program Manager, Human Services Pathways
Classification: Full Time, Exempt, Fully Remote
Reports to: Chief Learning Officer

MISSION: Futuro Health launched in 2020 to address the critical shortage of workers in the healthcare sector. Our nonprofit mission is to improve the health and wealth of communities by growing the largest network of allied healthcare workers in the nation. Initially funded by a $130 million investment from Kaiser Permanente through a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU-UHW, Futuro Health has since grown to have a portfolio of funders, grants and contracts to do our work that is life changing. Every year, thousands of diverse adults become Futuro Health Scholars and pursue training to earn their credentials for a wide array of in-demand allied healthcare roles. What sets Futuro Health apart is our comprehensive approach to supporting Futuro Health Scholars throughout their education journey and our deep expertise in the healthcare sector. We address the healthcare workforce shortage by personalizing education journeys for diverse adults to enter into allied healthcare careers at low or no-cost. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to compose business correspondence and edit and use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and to handle sensitive/confidential information, issues, and requests.
- Skill in communicating effectively and professionally using emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
- Ability to work independently and use effective decision-making skills based on current policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions following established policies and procedures.
- Skill in independently researching questions and making appropriate contacts when problem-solving.
- Able to independently research questions and facilitate communication when problem-solving.
- Able to translate valid key points from dictated or recorded meeting sessions and provide bullet point notes for follow-up or next steps.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise with computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and office equipment.
EDUCATION:
Candidate must have training in a health-related career, hold a current license or certification in an allied health career, or 2 years of relevant and related work experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
