Description:

Our client, a prominent Asian bank with a strong footprint across the region is looking to expand its Project Finance team. This role focuses on originating and executing financing solutions for infrastructure, energy, and other large-scale projects. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced project finance professional to develop their career with a leading institution renowned for its robust project finance expertise and commitment to Asia’s growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance, preferably with exposure to infrastructure, energy, and large-scale financing deals.
  • Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction structuring for project finance deals.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of project finance markets across Asia, with familiarity in regulatory, economic, and legal factors.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with senior stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Origination & Execution: Support origination efforts for project finance deals, with responsibilities in structuring, financial modeling, and credit assessment.
  • Deal Structuring: Work with clients and internal stakeholders to structure financing solutions that address the complex requirements of infrastructure and energy projects, including cross-border transactions.
  • Due Diligence & Risk Analysis: Conduct in-depth due diligence and risk analysis, including reviewing cash flow projections, project feasibility, and potential risks, to ensure sound investment decisions.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key project sponsors, government agencies, and other external partners, positioning the bank as a preferred project finance partner.
  • Market Insights & Compliance: Keep abreast of market developments in project finance, regulatory changes, and sector-specific trends to advise clients effectively and maintain compliance standards.
