About you: The Project Manager’s prime responsibility is to ensure that a project produces the required outcome, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The Project Manager will plan using the expertise of his/her team, monitor the project while managing the production of the deliverables committed. The Project Manager manage the dependencies, the risks and issues associated with the execution of the project he/she is in charged. The Project Manager will support the wider technical CoE/Customer Success/Division team initiatives and help deliver the project outcome. The Project Manager will leverage their knowledge and experience (domain/service/product/system expertise) to support others and deliver their own small portfolio of ‘in-play’ project initiatives. The Project Manager will help deliver change as defined by the contract or the Customer Success vision/operational plan, review feedback and work to continually improve speed, efficiency and effectiveness of our initiatives all designed to improve the customer experience & drive efficiencies in service. Day-to-day, you will: • Define project requirements and manage the agreement process with the Project Board, ensuring compliance with Access working practices and the Acceptance into Service process. • Manage the delivery of projects in partnership with customers and divisions, ensuring acceptance, closedown, handover to service, and producing required products. • Report to the Project Board through regular Highlight Reports and stage assessments, gather status reports from team members, and address issues as appropriate. • Manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID), produce effective plans and risk assessments, track project costs, support payment milestones, and minimize risk exposure across multiple projects. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Over 2 to 5 years of experience in Technical Delivery, Support/Operations, Professional Services, or a similar function within a technology organization, with a history of delivering projects from inception to implementation. • Prior experience in delivering more than three projects worth over £20K in services, ideally in IT, and leading project teams with approximately £100K in services. • Proven ability to manage teams, with significant competence in leadership, team development, and cost accountability, ideally with experience in earned value for fixed price contracts. • Certified as a Prince2 practitioner, Agile PM practitioner, or ITIL green badge, with experience in at least three types of projects: Programme/Project Office, Consultancy Transfer, Transition, Transformation, Deployment, or Application Development.
