The Associate - Health & Safety will be responsible for developing and executing an inclusive companywide health & safety strategy for Kitop in Bahraini. You will oversee all issues related to the health and safety of our employees including developing, executing, and sustaining company health & safety policies, standards, programs, and processes. The primary areas of focus are Hazard and Risk Management; Regulatory Compliance; Security; Emergency Preparedness and Response. This position reports to the Manager - Regional Health & Safety .

• Carry out daily inspections on the premises to ensure all stakeholders are adhering to regulation safety standards and periodically check functionality and optimisation of all appliances on the premises and troubleshoot if the need arises.
• Lead and direct sanitization team and ensure they are following strict safety standards.
• Provide support and investigation when clients raise complaints about food quality-related matters.
• Lead projects involving the adoption and integration of new appliances in the premises.
• To initiate communication with service providers to ensure all Kitopi operations are fully supported.
• Enforce strict compliance to Bahrain municipality codes in the work place and play a supportive role in any new initiatives or expansion plans that require the implementation of kitchen appliances.
• To manage and oversee kitchen staff shift schedules.
