QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2-3 years of real estate experience in a law firm
  • In the process of bar training for the legal advisor or advocate profession;
  • Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Commercial/business awareness;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task particularly when working under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Driven to achieve professional growth with a strong professional presence

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing real estate contracts, including purchase agreements and leases
  • Conduct legal research and due diligence for real estate transactions;
  • Support senior lawyers in client meetings and negotiations;
  • Prepare legal opinions and memoranda on various real estate matters;.
