ASSOCIATE RECRUITER - PRODUCT & TECHNOLOGY - (MATERNITY COVER)

We are seeking an Associate Technical Recruiter to join our team and recruit top talent for a variety of technical roles, including Software Development, Data Science, Big Data, and Analytics, primarily for Expedia’s Product & Technology teams in the EMEA region. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting exceptional candidates to build the teams that design, develop, and maintain Expedia’s platforms and services. You will demonstrate professionalism and provide exceptional customer service, adopting a consultative approach throughout the recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with hiring managers, from first-line managers to Vice Presidents, to understand the specific skills needed for each role and deliver high-caliber talent across a defined client group.
- Actively source candidates for Software Development, Mobile Engineering, Product Management, Machine Learning, Data Science, and other tech-related roles using job boards, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidates’ technical skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and manage technical interviews, including coding challenges and problem-solving exercises, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Present, negotiate, and finalize job offers, addressing any questions or concerns regarding compensation and role details.
- Gain a deep understanding of the business and the impact of a two-sided marketplace on revenue, product features, and user experience.
- Collaborate with Managers and HR Business Partners to drive diversity initiatives and build a more inclusive tech organization.
