QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of four years of prior experience in a recruitment role preferably in higher education or fundraising industry. (Required)
- Prior experience understanding, evaluating, implementing and abiding by recruiting policies, protocols and laws and consistently tracking applicant statuses. (Required)
- Strong understanding of the fundraising field, jobs, roles, skills, and organizational structure; including prior experience identifying and analyzing long term staffing needs. (Required)
- Demonstrated good judgment, confidentiality and discretion in communicating with colleagues and constituents. (Required)
- High-level interpersonal skills to develop and maintain a high level of professionalism and honesty while building credibility, trust and respect with both internal and external constituents. (Required)
- Strong organizational, time and project management skills that facilitate ability to handle multiple searches at the same time, including client and candidate portfolios. (Required)
- Excellent listening skills, ability to encourage and elicit information from candidates, hiring managers and references. (Required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required)
- Ability to develop competency based interview questions and rubric. (Required)
- Demonstrated networking skills in order to successfully cultivate prospects and candidates. (Required)
- Ability to work with, appreciate, and successfully interact with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences. (Required)
- Ability to represent UCLA, External Affairs, its departments, and the fields of advancement, higher education and public education in terms of careers and impact. (Required)
