About the Role:
The Associate Recruiting and Attorney Development Senior Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team and will be responsible for coordinating all phases of recruiting, including the summer program, entry level hiring, and campus outreach, while serving as a liaison to law schools, coordinating with internal departments, and providing mentorship and support to junior team members and supporting the attorney development function in the office, including supporting the integration, development, utilization, and retention goals of the firm, and ensuring the effective implementation of attorney development programs and initiatives. This role will be based in the Century City office, supporting both the Century City and Downtown Los Angeles locations. Occasionally, you may be required to work from the Downtown Los Angeles office to meet business needs. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Other key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating orientation, integration, and training programs for new hires and lateral attorneys, serving as a point of contact regarding integration and development issues
- Devising and executing all aspects of the summer program, including orientation, trainings, and events
- Providing support to various firm committees, departments, and affinity groups, including by overseeing administration of programming, acting as a liaison between local and global management committees, and ensuring effective communication and information sharing
- Planning, organizing, and executing attorney-related events, meetings, and orientations, including negotiating with third-party vendors and managing budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
- Developing relationships with and serving as firm liaison to law schools, career services colleagues, student organizations, vendors, and other recruitment professionals
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services

Pay Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr
