ASSOCIATE RESEARCH ANALYST

The Associate Research Analyst utilizes a variety of data analytic techniques, GIS mapping, data visualizations, and tools to provide a better understanding of the Greater Oklahoma City region. The Associate Research Analyst provides information to Chamber members, Chamber & Economic Development staff, the 10-county Greater Oklahoma City Partnership, real estate brokers and the retail community.

• Bachelors degree in GIS, geography, data science, city planning, economics, library science or equivalent professional experience in research/data/GIS profession is preferred.
• Tableau, Power BI, GIS or data visualization experience is a plus.
• Aptitude to learn and apply a variety of data analysis tools and secondary data sources.
• Should have a strong understanding of economic and demographic research principles and practices, as well as an awareness of sources of statistical data on the state and national level.
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in data to help businesses make decisions.
• Must be detail oriented plus possess good organizational and time management skills as this is a deadline driven position in a fast-paced environment.
• Above average communication skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Prefer two years of work experience or equivalent education/certifications.
• Position requires a positive and professional image/demeanor.
