ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Associate Resource Manager within our Medical team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects run seamlessly. You will work closely with the Operations Lead, Business Directors, Functional Leads, and Account Leads to manage project schedules, balancing team capacity with project demands. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, optimising team potential, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will build strong relationships across all departments, track resource redeployment decisions, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects and workstreams on track and within budget. You will also serve as the single source of truth for resourcing data, escalating issues when necessary to enable timely decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Resource Management & Traffic Coordination: Manage daily ad hoc requests and assist with the weekly resource cycle to ensure efficient allocation and utilisation of resources. Facilitate resource meetings and track redeployment decisions, ensuring all data is accurately recorded and escalated when appropriate.
  • Resource Forecasting: Assist with resource forecasting and ensure that all project accounts have submitted accurate data. Work closely with Business Directors and Client Services teams to align resourcing with client demands.
  • Facilitation of Team Stand-Ups: Help facilitate daily stand-up meetings, validate resource requests, and support communication between project managers, functional teams, and business leadership.
  • Workflow Coordination: Check in with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and manage bookings.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of resource allocations, redeployment decisions, and forecasting data. Provide timely reports and insights to support strategic decision-making. You will also be expected to use resource management tools like Workfront or other systems to streamline operations.
  • Freelance Management: Handle administrative tasks related to freelance management, including contract requests, margin tracking, monitoring start and end dates, updating extensions, and checking timesheets.
