Are you a highly motivated and analytical individual with a passion for making a positive impact? Alvarez & Marsal’s Restructuring & Insolvency practice is seeking individuals who are personable, inquisitive, and open-minded to join our team based in Leeds and pursue a rewarding career in the Insolvency Centre of Excellence (“ICE”).
About the Role:
Alvarez & Marsal’s (“A&M”) ICE team is looking for a senior case administrator (Associate) with 2-3 years of experience.
The ICE team sits within A&M’s successful and fast-growing Restructuring & Insolvency practice. It manages all compliance and technical matters on insolvency cases, working alongside the wider case teams. ICE also deals with longer term case progression matters. They maintain A&M’s standards of excellence, high levels of compliance and quality output, across a busy portfolio of cases. ICE deal with different sized cases ranging from mid-market regional opportunities to complex and international appointments, across all types of insolvencies.
The successful candidate will support our managers in dealing with case responsibilities. They will also help to supervise and coach the junior ICE team.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • preparing statutory reports (proposals, progress reports etc)
  • seeking fee approval, administration extensions and convening decision procedures
  • claims agreement, dividends to creditors
  • preparing cases for closure
  • updating and maintaining IPS records and case files
  • supervising, delegating to and coaching the junior team
  • other ad hoc tasks (both case and non-case related)

A&M is an organisation committed to Continued Professional Development and provides on the job training together with regular internal seminars on topical matters. Whilst no formal training contract is being offered with this role, there may be the opportunity to study towards a relevant professional qualification in due course. This will be assessed on an individual basis and subject to internal approval.
