Responsibilities:

We have an exciting Associate Scientist 2 role within our Virology team in Glasgow. You will be responsible for the performance of routine and custom GLP / GMP studies and good housekeeping, equipment maintenance and stock control, to ensure the smooth running of the laboratories. Our Virology team perform a wide variety of assays for the detection of infectious virus to support development and manufacturing processes within the pharmaceutical industry, making scientific observations and completing documentation to the required industry standards. Responsibilities of the role include working within the laboratory following Standard Operating Procedures and relevant compliance regulations to ensure routine studies are completed on time and accurately recorded to meet appropriate scientific and GLP / GMP regulatory standards.
