The Associate Scientist, Assay Development will assist with experimental execution in support of assay and method development programs, ensuring quality and timely delivery of results.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Execute experimental tasks as assigned by senior staff, including assay validation and development under close supervision.
  • Support assay development through assigned tasks and activities.
  • Maintain organization within the lab environment.
  • Monitor inventory and identify needs for experiments.
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks in compliance with regulatory standards and good documentation practices.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of data to clients.
  • Produce quality data and documentation in adherence to regulatory timelines.
  • Follow all lab and company procedures, supporting safety and 6S initiatives.

THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
