We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Durham, NC.

The Associate Scientist will be instrumental in conducting and documenting analytical procedures, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines, and contributing to the advancement of our laboratory operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting and documenting analytical procedures in line with SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Analyzing data to ensure procedures are on track and results fall within acceptable ranges.
- Identifying, documenting, and escalating any potential performance issues or unusual results.
- Preparing and uploading data analysis results to the LIMS system.
- Assisting with quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
- Preparing necessary solutions and buffers for analysis.
- Guiding and training new and entry-level staff on routine procedures.
- Performing calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
Responsibilities:
THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:
- Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling.
- Experience with automation and specialized laboratory equipment.
- Proficiency in laboratory calculations and quality control metrics.
- Strong computer, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
