Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE

Assist the Head of Credit Control in the monitoring and controlling of credit risk for clients

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recommend, review and approve trading limits of clients and Trading Representatives
  • Conduct analysis and review on business proposals and exception requests for Management’s
  • approval
  • Review, assess and recommend adjustments to financing parameters via periodic reviews and
  • market events to align with changing market conditions and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate and authorize funds withdrawal requests and trade amendments
  • Monitor trading exposure of clients
  • Follow up with Trading Representatives on margin calls
  • Collection of deficits including liaising with external counsel on legal proceedings
  • Perform periodic review of instruments and annual review of accounts
  • Prepare management reports for routine reporting and monthly reports for Committee meetings
  • Assist in projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the management from
  • time to time
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulatory requirements, internal policies/framework and risk
  • management guidelines
  • Escalate issues that are of major concern to the Head of Credit Control
  • Able to provide rotational coverage during Public Holidays
