Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE
Assist the Head of Credit Control in the monitoring and controlling of credit risk for clients
JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recommend, review and approve trading limits of clients and Trading Representatives
- Conduct analysis and review on business proposals and exception requests for Management’s
- approval
- Review, assess and recommend adjustments to financing parameters via periodic reviews and
- market events to align with changing market conditions and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and authorize funds withdrawal requests and trade amendments
- Monitor trading exposure of clients
- Follow up with Trading Representatives on margin calls
- Collection of deficits including liaising with external counsel on legal proceedings
- Perform periodic review of instruments and annual review of accounts
- Prepare management reports for routine reporting and monthly reports for Committee meetings
- Assist in projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the management from
- time to time
- Ensure compliance with industry regulatory requirements, internal policies/framework and risk
- management guidelines
- Escalate issues that are of major concern to the Head of Credit Control
- Able to provide rotational coverage during Public Holidays
