POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Global Payroll Associate/Senior Associate, you will perform key payroll duties, such as auditing, accounting and reviewing processes, ensuring the accuracy of each payroll cycle, calculating tax adjustments, and pay adjustments, etc.in the US and globally.
You will report to and work closely with the Managing Director of Payroll and Compensation to ensure the company’s payroll processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with required regulations. This position also requires accounting experience to create, review, and approve entries and handle month-end close procedures. You will also collaborate with the HR department to update and verify employee records regarding payroll, time sheets, benefits, and taxes. Plus, working with the team to find solutions to streamline. This includes exposure in the US as well as non-US.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have significant knowledge of accounting and payroll processes gained in similar positions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field
- 5 + years of experience in global payroll administration, preferably in a multinational company.
- CPP strongly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple countries.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g. NetSuite, UKG,Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of Payroll Accounting procedures

Responsibilities:
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance and Tax, to gather payroll data and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Oversee tax reconciliation processes to ensure accurate withholding and reporting in accordance with local tax laws.
- Process equity transactions, RSUs, and ESPP, ensuring timely and accurate execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle payroll accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports to internal stakeholders and external auditors in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director of Payroll and Comp to document payroll policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across regions.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of payroll data to identify and address errors, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including training and mentoring as needed.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
