International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) is Commercial Banking’s international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of Commercial Banking (CMB) customers within the Large Corporate and Mid- Market Enterprise segments. The International Subsidiary Banking strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The International Subsidiary Banking business is a significant contributor of revenue to Commercial Banking and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 60 countries.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Servicing and Support Manager - ISB.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge in commercial banking products and banking operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, telephone and customer servicing skills
  • Strong learning ability and comfortable with learning

Responsibilities:

The Relationship Associate will be working closely with Relationship Managers to acquire, manage and grow client relationship by providing a superior level of client servicing and client proximity. The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Support ISB to attain their strategic growth targets
  • Laise with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness and delivery of high service levels
  • Liaise and follow up with Global Commercial Banking offices on inward/outward referrals and other operational matters
  • Assist in preparation of basic credit applications
  • Follow up and ensure timely preparation and receipt of loan, security and other documentation in line with the credit approvals and facilitate activation of facilities
  • Participate in ad hoc projects relating to improving operation processes and customer experience
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable operational risk HSBC Standards and policies, reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures
  • Be adaptive to ongoing changes within the organization and support the implementation of needed changes in the department
