Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Associate SOE Engineer who is an established professional in solution implementation, systems development, or applications management. You will be involved in the detailed design of solution components, analysis and design of use cases or impact of change analysis of existing applications under maintenance.
A high level AGSVA Security Clearance is essential for this role.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Undertake software design and develop software design documentation in line with functional or application-specific requirements.
  • Develop detailed and complex software code as part of application programming activities.
  • Develop integration and unit test scripts derived from software requirements and conduct application software testing.
  • Provide expert technical advice on application issues, and manage the resolution of incidents during and after applications development.
  • Recommend improvements in processes to support the reduction of inefficiencies or variances, and to achieve consistent and best practice delivery of application support activities.
  • Integrate software products into existing software environments to produce new platform specific versions of the software products.
  • Ensures the availability of hardware, software, and resources for the systems testing of platform-specific versions of one or more software products.
  • Defines configurations required for testing with reference to agreed testing standards
