POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers? We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# and JavaScript, with experience in HTML, React and Angular. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and maintain software systems
  • Work closely with software development teams
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering OR at least 3 years industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Git Version Control
  • 4 years of experience with C# programming
  • 4 years of experience with Agile software development
  • 4 years of experience with SQL Server
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven collaboration skills
  • Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

  • Experience with Typescript, Angular, and React
  • Experience with PuTTY
  • Experience building end to end solutions for the Azure Cloud platform
  • Familiarity with REST API architectures
  • Familiarity with unit testing within C# and typescript
