DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

Description:
This position is for an Associate Software Engineer in the Cloud & Software team, part of the Advanced Innovation Center. This role will work closely with Engineering, Security, DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams to develop highly scalable solutions that integrate client agents and cloud services. To be successful in this role, you are expected to be highly hands-on, have knowledge of basic software engineering concepts, and be motivated to learn new technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or technical related discipline
• Experience with high-level language such as Java or C#
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
• Experience with Git
• Understanding of lower languages like C++ or C
• Understanding of operating systems
• Understanding of scripting with a language like bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Understanding of various database technologies like SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Understanding of computer networking and the Internet Protocol Suit

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience creating or consuming with REST APIs
• Familiar with Linux, Android, and or iOS application development
• Familiar with a web service platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
• Experience with other technologies like JS, NodeJS, Golang, Rust, Angula
