This role involves assisting in the development, launch, and optimization of software products. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software solutions meet customer needs and market demands. Key Responsibilities
Product Development Support:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps and strategies for software products.
- Collaborate with the product team to gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends specific to software solutions.
- Participate in the ideation, specification, and development of new software features and enhancements.
- Assist in defining product requirements and user stories.
- Participate in creating and maintaining the product backlog.
- Support the SPM in developing and updating the product roadmap.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape for software products.
- Analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions and strategies.
- Assist in the creation of detailed software product requirement documents.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful software product launches.
- Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely releases of software updates and new features.
- Communicate software product updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs and pain points related to our software products.
- Provide support to the sales and customer support teams by sharing product knowledge and assisting with customer inquiries.
- Help prepare and deliver software product presentations and demos.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Monitor and analyze software product performance and user feedback post-launch.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Support the product team in managing the software product lifecycle from conception to retirement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software product management, business analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., ADO, Trello) is a plus.
- Passion for technology and software development.
