Responsibilities
In October 2024, PJT Partners acquired deNovo Partners, a leading, Dubai-based, advisory firm focused on the Middle East to continue to expand our global footprint. In addition, as part of the PJT’s commitment to the MENA region, the firm’s Riyadh office will be staffed by senior professionals both from the region and from our global team.
The Advisory group is one of the most experienced investment banking teams in the industry, and has been involved in some of the largest, most complex transactions of the past twenty years. Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries, including technology, media & telecommunications, energy, power & utilities, oil & gas, industrials, education, healthcare, and real estate, gaming & lodging.
The Associate in the Saudi team will be a critical part of expanding the platform with heavy involvement in both deal execution and business development, while working with lean deal teams and directly with senior practitioners at PJT deNovo.
Responsibilities for this individual will include:
- Evaluating, structuring, and recommending financial and strategic alternatives, including the analysis of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic combinations, asset sales, and divestures.
- Leading the day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements; work with senior management and coordinate deliverables preparation.
- Analysing financial data and developments in financial markets important to the business of PJT deNovo.
- Conducting research of targeted industries for investment purposes.
- Performing valuation analysis of prospective investment opportunities under consideration, including the assessment of financial risks.
- Comparing a company’s financial data with other companies of the same industry, size, and location to the forecast of industry trends.
- Designing and develop quantitative models to assess the economic performance of targeted companies.
- Preparing written analysis and evaluations of investment opportunities for use by PJT deNovo management and review by clients.
- Participating in both internal and external client meetings.
Qualifications
PJT deNovo seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Fluency in Arabic is required
- Minimum 3 years of directly comparable (Investment Banking) experience with particular focus on M&A
- Bachelors Degree
- Strong qualitative and analytical skills and strong financial modelling skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to write effectively
- A desire to work in a team environment, often under tight deadlines
- Ability to perform extensive valuation analyses
