Job Description

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree (Honours)
  • Chartered Membership of Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Engineers Ireland (EI)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and Structural principles.
  • Experience in undertaking structural engineering projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate.
  • Supervising work, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and that it is managed to programme and budget.
  • Ability to deliver design solutions and assessment calculations, lead teams, and successfully manage projects.
  • A solid track record of working on various structures projects, possibly as project leader on some, with experience in dealing directly with clients.
  • Knowledge and experience of the local Belfast marketplace would be desirable.

  • Leading a team of engineers and technicians designing building infrastructure schemes.
