Reporting to the Manager of Talent Attraction, the Associate Talent Partner is responsible for executing the full cycle recruitment strategy and will play a key role in the rapid expansion of SSENSE, with a focus on candidates within the fields of the Distribution Center and our Customer Experience team. He/She will support our HR and Operations teams during our upcoming peak Fall/Winter 2024 season. This is an exciting time of year to join the SSENSE family as we will be on-boarding hundreds of seasonal employees (Warehouse Associates) You will be sourcing, interviewing and hiring these individuals, as well as supporting other on-site HR-related tasks including on-boarding, and special projects and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment of seasonal employees, posting job ads, interviewing and selecting candidates
  • Participate in the organization of our virtual and on-site recruitment events (job fairs)
  • Draft and distribute employee contracts
  • Conduct pre-employment background checks with external provider
  • Propose, execute, and monitor methods to increase the quality and number of applications, including new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Maintain all records of pertinent applicant and interview data
  • Build a pipeline of promising candidates and maintain regular contact for future positions
  • Assist the recruitment team with the referral program
  • Facilitate onboarding presentations for new employees / on-site facilitation required
    Qualifications

A minimum of 6 months experience in a mass recruitment role for either a distribution center or a call center AND/OR working in a fast-paced corporate and/or customer-facing environment

  • Educational experience in Human Resources Management, or a related field an asset
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and other social sourcing tools (Linkedin, Indeed, Facebook etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of implementing recruitment marketing strategies
  • Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
  • Flexible to work days, evenings, or weekends, as required
  • Available to work on-site at our Distribution Center in Ville Saint-Laurent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French as you will be interacting with both English and French candidates
