WHAT WE DO
We raise the quality level of audio in all Epic game titles and technologies as well as engage with a world-class team to create amazing gaming experiences.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous technical experience implementing audio and/or building audio systems in a game development environment
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine components: including but not limited to scripting, level editor, animation, and Sequencer editors
- Solid communication skills and ability to effectively demonstrate game logic flow, systems design, and debugging strategies
- A foundation in Sound Design skills that show promise in the areas of field/studio recording, sound editing, and sound designing
- Passionate about audio; should be able to talk about and deconstruct other current media’s audio quality (games, movies, TV)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, especially in a technical environment
- Excitement about learning and building game audio skills
- Musical experience is a plus, but not looking for music composers

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As part of the Epic Games Audio Team, you’ll help to raise the quality level of audio in Lego Fortnite, engage with a world-class team to create amazing gaming experiences and push the development of audio features and integration for future Unreal audio engine development.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Create and implement high-quality audio in Epic products
- Set up, debug, and test game audio implementations across a variety of systems
- Engage with a world-class team to create amazing gaming experiences
- Grow skills to have a bigger and broader impact on the quality of Epic audio
- Help to strengthen and expand the capabilities of existing audio systems
