As an Associate Technical Consultant, Buildings & Master Planning, you will be responsible for delivering our APAC master planning business plan, identifying new opportunities. We are seeking an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial senior level master planner to lead the development and growth of our master planning practice in South East Asia. This is an exciting opportunity to grow, expand and form a design studio with your creative guidance.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE

  • 15+ years’ experience in a master planning design role within a relevant consulting, planning or architectural practice.
  • Have experience in leading a master planning team / practice based in region.
  • Have a strong network of clients and co-professionals who you can leverage to win work and collaborate on new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills (graphically and verbally).
  • Be a strategic thinker, curious, analytical, and interested in outside-box solutions.
  • Be collaborative and comfortable in group workshop environments.
  • Always seeking innovation and continual improvement.
  • Understand the importance of clear narrative and story-driven approach.
  • Ability to travel and work with a global team.
  • Fluent English communication skills (spoken & written).

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Associate Technical Consultant, Buildings & Master Planning to join our team in Singapore.

The role responsibilities include:

  • You will have an extensive track record in leading master planning teams in region with an established network of clients and collaborators who can assist with the strategic growth of the business.
  • You will be supported by the strategic master planning lead for EMEA and APAC and will report in to the leadership of the Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL) business in APAC.
  • You will benefit from delivery teams located in Europe who comprise architects, master planners, urban designers, landscape architects and digital designers, that together provide our customers with world class design capabilities.
  • Worley has committed to delivering a more sustainable world in everything we do. You will play a leading role in embedding sustainable design principals into industrial projects, specifically focussed around the energy transition.
  • You will pitch to our customers and demonstrate a deep understanding of the importance of sustainable buildings, integration of smart technology and importance of user experience in decarbonising assets, creating bankable designs, and enabling great places to work.
