A Day in the Life
Medtronic is hiring a Technical Consultant for an open position within the CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) line of business with responsibility on the whole Puglia’s territory. In the role, you will have a crucial impact on our patients by providing key technical expertise to cardiologists, sales representatives, sales and marketing functions mainly supporting implant and follow up procedures and throughout presentations and demonstrations of company products like pacemakers and implantable defibrillators.
As a liaison between sales personnel and technical staff, you will be responsible for customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations, both on-site, and at the clients’ site in the whole Puglia. You will be part of a team, with a home-based role, under a permanent contract.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Participate in presentations, conferences, and meetings to support Sales colleagues in giving doctors all the necessary information about our products while building solid relationships.
  • Participate in the training and technical updating of physicians, hospital personnel, and all others involved in the use of Medtronic products.
  • Give support in post marketing activities.
  • Must also be able to build strong relationships with Sales colleagues in order to bring a common, clear and complete message to the doctor.
  • Provide immediate technical/specialist support whenever the doctor requests it, taking care to share all the clinical data necessary to demonstrate the efficacy of the product.
  • Take charge of the management of critical issues on our products by discussing, as necessary, with colleagues in the office.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree in biomedical engineering or scientific subjects.
  • Device knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel within the area of competence.
  • Problem Solving: ability to tackle the problem from multiple points of view, helping the doctor to find the best solutions to technical problems.
  • Sales Force Competencies.
  • Impact on communication with the doctor.
  • Team oriented.
