Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Technical Director to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Director to support the technical and operational aspects of construction projects. This role involves overseeing the scheduling and coordination of various departments to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in managing all technical aspects of production.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop technical plans and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules, including timelines for design, construction, installation, rehearsals, and performances.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure all technical requirements are met according to schedule.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in production demands.
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in the maintenance and inventory of technical equipment and materials
  • Supervise and mentor technical staff and crews, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to review project progress and address any issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of technical budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Track expenses and provide regular reports to the Director.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in scheduling or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of best practices, including safety, project management, scheduling
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Primavera or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and personalities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing construction needs and schedules.
