Entry Level Analysts provide technical support throughout a customer implementation. They are focused on a building technical expertise for a single product.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities/knowledge

  • Develop high-quality, client-specific enhancements in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues that arise throughout a customer implementation.
  • Primary activities include enhancement development, testing, issues resolution, implementation, and post implementation support. Any of these activities may require onsite support.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Entry level professional contributor on a project or specialty work team
  • Typically requires BS/BA or higher in Engineering or Computer Science or related work experience and 6 mo-2 years of experience in related field
  • Adheres to departmental processes and procedures
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
  • Relevant work experience programming in C++ (placement, dissertation or post university work experience i.e. more than just a module at university).
  • Object oriented development experience.
  • Database skills using SQL and experience with working with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
  • Good communicator.
  • Team Player.

Desired IT skills:

  • Java development skills
