DESIRED SKILLS:

  • 3-6 years’ work experience in within the financial services industry, preferably in a technical capacity.
  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a hands-on approach
  • Deep understanding of trade execution and preferably post-trade workflows.
  • Knowledge of buy-side processes and understanding of investment
  • Experience with order management systems and experience working directly with senior traders
  • Familiarity with Execution Management Systems, Broker/Dealers, Dark Pools and other ECNs
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients
  • Customer service oriented and experience facing off with clients
  • A Working understanding of FIX Protocol
  • Multi-asset understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Derivative and FX Trading

The Aladdin Client Transformations Team is responsible for the installation and deployment of Aladdin at BlackRock Solutions clients. Aladdin implementations are high profile initiatives which require team members to have senior level exposure and play an active role in transforming client organizations; a typical Aladdin implementation is at least as much about processes and implementing change as it is about technology. We help clients achieve challenging strategic objectives which range from streamlining operations to integrating business lines to modernizing their overall investment process. BlackRock’s implementation model is unique in the sense that we take full responsibility for the client going live on our solution. It also means that we develop a true partnership with our clients that continues to grow post go live.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand client objectives and goals paired with strong emotional ownership to deliver on solutions utilizing Aladdin capabilities
  • Engage the Client’s key leaders to understand, redesign, and deploy strategic business workflows across the full spectrum of their Trading requirements, including logical and physical internal and external routing of orders, vendor and venue connectivity, pre- and post-trade trade charges, fees and TCA
  • Collaborate closely with the Client’s senior management team (Chief Operational Officer, Heads of Trading and Heads of Desks) and provide strong leadership throughout the Aladdin Implementation
  • Work directly with the Client to create and administer the implementation project plan, as well as the coordination of resources across multiple functional areas
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of Aladdin functionality and workflows to ensure clients take full advantage of the suite of Aladdin products and tools
  • Lead and assist in Aladdin configuration, testing and user training
  • Work closely with the client and Aladdin Product Managers to support client development needs
  • Participate in Aladdin business development activities assisting in Platform demonstrations as well as system validations and due diligence meetings with prospective clients
  • Actively manage client communications regarding Aladdin product changes and configurations, as related to Aladdin onboarding
  • Aid in developing improved practices to make the Implementation model more efficient with each new implementation
  • Develop strong relationships within BlackRock Solutions and BlackRock to ensure the best client experience
