REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:

• At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years related work experience with youth or program specific, or supervision preferred.
• Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Ability to relate to, welcome and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Salary: Full-time $14.75 - $15.25 hourly

The Parkview Family YMCA is looking for an energetic, outgoing relationship builder to fill the position of Associate Teen Director. This position involves connecting with the teens and providing programs that fit that age group in the development and connection to the Y. As one of the faces of our Y, the ideal candidate will be known by members and program participants as positive, friendly, and helpful.

• Connect: Foster relationships and build connections with members and program participants.
• Serve: Assist in running the program, program marketing, and staffing.
• Care: Support teens in personal growth, character development, goal setting, and skill development
