A new vicar was licensed in January 2024 with the purpose of working with the existing church family and a team moving from St Michael Le Belfrey, York (a charismatic, evangelical church) to do a Church Plant Revitalisation, and work towards becoming a Resourcing Church.

We are seeking an Associate Vicar to help us discover God’s vision for how we can live Christ’s story in our communities. Alongside usual clergy duties in collaboration with the Vicar, the Associate Vicar will have a particular focus on mission and discipleship among children, young people and families and will oversee the development of engagement with, and provision for children and families at the Sunday morning service. We are looking for an Associate Vicar who will:

  • Envision us for church planting and revitalisation.
  • Enable and equip us to reach families and younger generations.
  • Line manage our Youth and Community Pioneer as they set up a Youth and Community Centre
  • Help us to reach those we currently do not.
  • Teach the Bible well and make a priority of growing disciples.
  • Embrace the variety of worship across our churches and diverse community.
  • Embrace collaborative ministry.

Prayer is important to us and we will pray for you!
You will find us West of the vibrant city of Hull. We are excited about our future and finding the person God is calling to join our team and journey forward into the plans we know he has for us.
Informal enquiries are welcome. Please contact the incumbent The Revd Vicky Earll revvickyearll@gmail.com or the Archdeacon of the East Riding T: 01482 881659:
