Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Corporate Development professional to drive the strategy in driving the company’s growth and expansion initiatives through various transactions such as merger and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and new market entry.
Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a unique blend of financial expertise, market insight, and leadership skills that will be instrumental in shaping our company’s growth trajectory. WHAT YOU WILL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRAS))

New business development (impact focus)

  1. Lead business development initiatives related to the group’s impact strategy including, but not limited to:
  • Incorporating Impact strategy into business design
  • Identifying and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships aligned to our impact strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the impact sector
  1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation
  2. Navigate and manage regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to international business operations
    Market assessment and strategic planning

Develop and implement comprehensive international expansion strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.

  • Perform market research to understand the trends, competitive landscape, political and regulatory environment to assess market / target potential.
  • Create detailed business plans and roadmaps for market entry, including financial projections and resource requirements.

Transactions

  • Conduct due diligence to assess and evaluate the financial and strategic aspects of transactions.
  • Negotiate and structure transaction documents, manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal and business units to manage the end-to-end transaction process.
  • Develop financial / analytical models to perform financial, valuation and market assessment analyses (e.g. 3-statement projection models, discounted cash flow valuation models).
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting of strategic investments’ performance
